Folio. 707, [24, Index] pp. Later full calf, spine ruled in gilt in compartments, black gilt morocco lettering label, rebacked preserving the original spine. EARLY PRINTED EDITION OF EUSEBIUS' CHRISTIAN HISTORIES AND HIS BIOGRAPHY OF THE EMPEROR CONSTANTINE.
Condition
Boards worn, soiled, corners restored, hinges starting, spine worn, leaf (A2) with marginal paper repair), some light dampstaining to final leaves, some contemporary ink notations throughout Chronology section, ink marking on title-page, text toned with occasional thumbsoiling, foxing. Very good.
