Illustrated. 67 pp. Publisher's perfect-bound wrappers (minor rubbing, sunning to wrappers, minor marginal toning to text). Fine. FIRST EDITION OF THIS RARE MEMOIR OF A MEMBER OF THE 8TH IOWA CAVALRY, SIGNED BY HIM ON THE TITLE-PAGE. He relates his experiences as a soldier and POW (he was captured during the Atlanta Campaign). From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 9 x 7 x 1".
