[CIVIL WAR]. BLACKFORD, Charles M., Jr. (1865-1924). Annals of the Lynchburg Home Guard. Lynchburg, VA: Published by the Company by John W. Rohr, Elecric [sic] Power Printer and Binder, 1891. Small 8vo. Illustrated with 4 plates. 185, [3, blank] pp. Publisher's full black cloth, front board stamped in blind and gilt, yellow endleaves (binding somewhat worn, soiled, endleaves with pencil markings, title-page a bit loose, text toned, occasionally soiled, and somewhat shaken). Very good. FIRST EDITION OF THIS EXCEEDINGLY RARE BOOK. Not in Howes. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 6 x 5 x 1".
