- Lot Description
[CIVIL WAR]. Group of Three Signed Documents for A Soldier of the Grand Army of the Republic. [New York: 1897-1942]. Documents commemorating the Civil War service for Charles Sonnenberg (Third Army Corps Union election certificate, membership certificate in the Lafayette Post No. 140 Department of New York, and his appointment to Aide de Camp of the Grand Army of the Republic. All signed by officials of these organizations. Sizes range from 17 x 24? to 16 x 20?. Two certificates mounted onto thin cardboard. Some wear, soiling, foxing, toning. Good.
