Illustrated with 16 mounted color plates with captioned tissue guards, and 24 full page black and white plates. 320 pp. Publisher's full gray cloth, boards and spine stamped in black, oval pictorial label on front board (spine and board edges toned, some rubbing, hinges starting, some occasional thumbsoiling in text). Near fine, better than usually seen. FIRST AMERICAN EDITION FROM SHEETS PRINTED IN ENGLAND. From the Collection of Louis A. Irmo. Measurements: 12 x 10 x 2".
