[COLES & CO., photographer]. Carl Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus Dressing Room Season 1915. Col's, Ohio: Coles & Co., 1915. Large black and white panoramic photograph of musicians (most with instruments), clowns (including a dwarf), roustabouts, acrobats, animal tamers (with gun visible), wild west performers, etc. all in uniform. Photo taken outdoors with big tops in background. Text and credit in plate at center and lower right corner. Mounted on cardstock. 10 x 55 ?". Toned, worn, soiled, scuffed, verso worn and soiled. Fair. Still, a rare and possibly unique photograph of a circus' performers and staff.
