[CONTORTIONISTS]. Series of 4 Cabinet Photos of a Clown Contortionist. New York: Wendt, ca. 1880s-90s. Portrait photographs of a contorionist, Albee (William Albee or William Clito), of Albee & Arden Pantomime Contortionists. These four portraits, with some hand-coloring, show Albee in and out of make-up in a variety of positions. Three with studio mounts; ink notations on versos. 6 ? x 4 ??. Scuffing and spotting to images.
