Woodcut decorations. [16], 1-287, [1, blank], [1, colophon] pp. Contemporary white boards, black gilt morocco lettering label on spine.
Condition
Binding soiled, scuffed, boards bowed outward a bit, later endleaves with scuffing on fp., text a bit toned, some soiling, numerous manuscript ink notations, including pagination corrections for about the second half of the work. Good. FIRST BALFOUR EDITION OF THIS UNCOMMON BILINGUAL (LATIN AND GREEK) EDITION OF GELASIUS' COMMENTARIES ON THE COUNCIL OF NICEA. Text is in parallel Latin and Greek.
