[303], [1, blank] pp. Publisher's full black cloth, front board and spine stamped in red, publisher's unclipped dust jacket with publisher's wrap-around band (mild rubbing to binding, faint erasure and color correction marks to endleaves, text a bit toned with foxing on edge of text-block; minor toning, rubbing and a few short marginal tears to jacket). Fine; much better than usually seen. FIRST EDITION OF THE AUTHOR'S FIRST NOVEL, IN UNUSUALLY FINE CONDITION. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 8 x 6 x 1".
