[CRIME CLUB, INC.] Pair of First Edition Mysteries in Dust Jackets. Garden City, NY: The Crime Club, Inc., 1930, 1931. 8vos. Publisher's full black cloth, front boards and spines stamped in red, publisher's unclipped dust jackets (Half Mast Murder has no printed price, because this was issued with priced wrap-around band, which is not present; some rubbing to bindings, some erasure marks or ownership markings on endleaves; jackets with some rubbing, toning, minor soiling). Very good copies in fine dust jackets. FIRST EDITIONS. Titles include: Half Mast Murder by Milward Kennedy (first American edition) and The Penthouse Murders by Raymond Holden. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 8 x 6 x 1".
