Illustrated with 44 black and white plates of rare Chinese Jade. 185 pp. Publisher's full straight grain green cloth, front board stamped in gilt, green endleaves.
Condition
Binding toned, gilt on front cover a bit toned, small library markings on spine, residue of library pocket, label, and markings on front endleaves, a few gutters overopened, text a bit toned, soiled. Very good. FIRST EDITION, INSCRIBED BY NOTT, COPY #207. "Presented with the compliments of the Author Stanley Charles Nott April, 1941". Most copies of this limited edition catalogue were not signed or inscribed by Nott, making this copy more desirable than most. This is the exhibition catalogue for the 1941 charity drive in Palm Beach to benefit the American Red Cross and British War Relief.
