Original blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt, top edge gilt, others uncut; plain wrapper (possibly original).FIRST ENGLISH EDITION of this early Conan Doyle venture into the field of science fiction, largely concerned with alchemy. This is the finest copy of this work we have seen and is in as-new condition. Green and Gibson A9a.
