Electricity is Life 1 Cent Arcade Machine. Mayville, NY: John Papa, ca. 2005. Magnificent bow-fronted quarter-sawn cabinet supporting a slant-front glass window showing the works of this machine based on the Mills Novelty Co. original. Drop in a penny, pull the handles, and receive a mild jolt of current to "revitalize" your well-being and cure "all forms of muscular ills," with your results measured by the spinning dial in the upper portion of the cabinet. One of 12 units manufactured. With fine decals, bright plated castings, and expertly rendered papier-mache marquee showing strong men around the central wheel. Locks and keys. 29 x 23 x 77 1/4". Third party transportation required.

Near fine, with only minor wear to cabinet.
