[632] pp. Publisher's full pink cloth, front board and spine stamped in white, publisher's clamshell case stamped on lid and spine in white. FIRST EDITION OF THIS MASSIVE COLLECTION OF ARAKI'S PHOTOGRAPHY, #1641/2500 COPIES SIGNED BY HIM.
Condition
Some soiling, light rubbing to binding, some occasional light soiling to front and rear blanks; box heavily soiled, bumped, some splitting to one corner of box's tray. A very good copy in a fair box.
- Provenance
Araki is one of the most famous (infamous?) modern Japanese photographers, best known for his erotic photographs of the underbelly of Japanese BDSM practitioners. The photographs in this collection reflect this material, as well as his other subjects (cityscapes, average people, etc.)
