Sepia tone albumen photograph shows the Aerial or Etheral Suspension trick popularized by Robert-Houdin; a person remains suspended in mid-air with a large staff in the crook of one arm. Carte de Visite format on printed photographer's mount, 3 7/8 x 2 1/2". Rubber stamp of "Raymonde / Aug 23 1928" to verso. From the collection of Dai Vernon.
