Inserted half-titles. Complete in 20 volumes. Bound by Brentano?s in contemporary three-quarter dark green levant morocco over green cloth boards, spines ruled, tooled, and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, top edges gilt (spines uniformly sunned to brown, some occasional rubbing to bindings, a few gutters starting). Fine. AUTOGRAPH EDITION, #78/153 SIGNED BY THOMAS HARDY AND THE PUBLISHER ON INSERTED LEAVES IN VOLUME I.
