Illustrated with steel portraits and engravings from the original designs by Browne, Cruikshank, Leech, and others, including hand-colored frontispieces. Complete in 32 volumes. Handsomely bound in contemporary three-quarter red levant morocco over marbled boards, spines tooled and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, top edges gilt, others uncut, marbled endleaves (some occasional rubbing, scuffing, soiling). Fine. LARGE-PAPER EDITION, #34/500 COPIES, WITH A SIGNED CHECK BY DICKENS INSERTED IN VOLUME I.
