- Lot Description
[FINE BINDINGS]. SCOTT, Sir Walter (1771-1832). The Miscellaneous Prose Works of Sir Walter Scott, Bart. Edinburgh: Robert Cadell, 1834-36. 12mos. Illustrated with frontispieces and engraved title-pages. 28 volumes. Bound in contemporary full brown calf, boards ruled in gilt, spines ruled and tooled in gilt in compartments, four raised bands, two green gilt morocco lettering labels, gilt board edges, marbled endleaves, all edges marbled (spines a bit dull, some rubbing, light wear and soiling to bindings, light toning and occasional foxing to text). Very good.
