[FINE PRESS BOOKS]. ROETHKE, Theodore (1908-1963). Sequence Sometimes Metaphysical. With Wood Engravings by John Roy. Iowa City: The Stone Wall Press, [1963]. Small 4to. Illustrated with 14 full-page engravings, including frontispiece. Unpaginated. Publisher's red morocco backstrip over pictorial boards, publisher's black slipcase. Fine.#XV/LX DELUXE COPIES OUT OF A TOTAL EDITION OF 330, SIGNED BY ROETHKE AND ROY. Only the Roman Numeral copies were signed. Written by Roethke over the last 10 years of his life, this collection is considered his best. Roethke had won both the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award for poetry.Measurements: 10"L x 9"W x 2"H.
