FLEMING, Ian (1908-1964). Pair of First American Editions of James Bond Novels, including: Live and Let Die. New York: The Macmillan Company, 1955. 8vo. 216 pp. Publisher's dark blue cloth, front board and spine stamped in yellow, publisher's later issue (clipped front flap with the later $3.00 price present; some rubbing to cloth, endleaves offset; jacket edgeworn with some light chipping and a few tears). Very good. Rare. And: Goldfinger. New York: The Macmillan Company, 1959. 8vo. 318, [2, blank] pp. Publisher's black cloth binding, front board and spine stamped in gilt, front board stamped in blind, publisher's later issue (?$3.00" price at bottom, earlier price is neatly clipped at top) dust jacket (light rubbing to cloth, edge of text-block foxed; some toning, soiling, edgewear to jacket). Very good. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 8 ? x 5 ? x 1".
