HOUDINI, Harry (Erik Weisz, 1874 - 1926). Harry and Beatrice Houdini Cabinet Card Portrait. Essen: Louis Becker, ca. 1904. Full-length image of the Houdinis in their youth and prime, captured during a European tour. Houdini stands beside Beatrice who wears a floor-length black dress. He holds a crushed opera hat, and adorning her outfit is the crown-shaped brooch presented to her during their Russian tour. Cabinet card format on photographer's printed and silver-stamped mount. 6 1/2 x 4 1/4". A RARE and striking image.
