HARTZ, J.M. (1836 ? 1903). Hartz Signed Theatrical Contract. Dated May 8, 1897 in the hand of the magician, and outlining an agreement for his appearance at the Grand Theatre of Varieties, Bolton at a salary of 14 for one week's performance the following year. One 4to sheet, with the rubber stamp of Will Sley, agent in the upper left. Chipped and worn. SIGNED in ink by ?M. Hartz." RARE.
