Auction Description
Potter & Potter's final magic auction of the year will feature a closely-curated selection of magicana from the art's golden age and beyond. This "best of the best" offering features rare Kellar, Thurston, and Goldin lithographs - some coming to the market for the first time - alongside memorabilia from Harry Houdini's career and his family's scrapbooks, choice micro-magic effects, early printed books on conjuring, and relics from the Maskelyne dynasty of magicians. Costumes from the careers of Cardini and De Biere, apparatus owned and used by Dai Vernon, Floyd Thayer's own scrapbooks, and autographed editions of collectible classics will also cross the block.
