Typed letter on Esquire Magazine stationery, dated February 24, 1964. Addressed: "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:". Signed "Arnold Gingrich". Approximately 10 1/2 x 7 1/4". 2 horizontal creases, minor rubbing, faint occasional soiling. Fine. "I hereby pass on with the sale of my Hemingway letters and telegrams any and all rights of any kind whatsoever in the letters and telegrams on my own account..."
[And:] sepia and white photograph of a seated Gingrich holding an issue of Esquire Magazine. [New York, ca. 1935]. Approximately 5 1/4 x 3 1/4". Toned, rubbed, verso soiled, scuffed with later pencil notes in an unknown hand. Very good.
