HENNING, Doug (1947-2000). Set of Five Doug Henning Assistant Costumes. Circa 1970s/1980s. Includes five costumes worn by assistants to Henning in variety of shows. -- Fire Dome Illusion flame sequin bodysuit worn by first assistant during Fire Dome Illusion on tours. Gold suit covered in red, orange, and gold sequins in flame pattern. No manufacturer?s label present. Very good/good. -- Rainbow bodysuit dress designed by Gilda Marx. Stamped ?bill hargate costume rental?. Inscribed ?Tina?. Good; some fading and staining consistent with wear. -- Fuchsia pullover sweatshirt bearing Chrysler Motor Company star logo, likely worn by assistant during Chrysler Industrial Shows. Inscribed ?Tina?. Size medium. Near fine. -- Silver rhinestone-studded bodysuit. Los Angeles: M Stevens Design. Size medium. Good. -- Blue Mis-Made shirt/wrap from Henning?s Magic Show Road Show. Stains and discoloration throughout; torn stitches.
