HOUDINI, Harry (Erik Weisz, 1874 - 1926). Houdini Typed Letter, Signed. Dated May 9, 1924 and typed in purple ink on his printed half-size stationery, Houdini asks a Mrs. George Sauner for the address of Mrs. Van Zandt. "Your address was given to me by a young man and I am desirous of getting some information." The verso bears a reply in pencil with Van Zandt's address in Baltimore. Right edge with loss (slightly affecting text), chips to perimeter, splitting at old central fold. SIGNED by Houdini. Provenance: Collection of Beatrice Houdini, passed to the consignor by descent.
