HERRMANN, Adelaide (1853 ? 1932). Portrait of Adelaide Herrmann. Circa 1900. Photograph depicts vaudeville?s ?Queen of Magic? poses in a long beaded evening gown with a fan in one hand, a white billiard ball balanced precariously on its edge. 5 ? x 3 ??. Chip in left margin. Mounted to a stiff card. See Exemplars, p. 211. Displayed as part of Ricky Jay?s Extraordinary Exhibitions, Hammer Museum (Los Angeles), 2007.
