Herodotus. Histoire d?Herodote. Pairs: Mussier and Nyon, 1786. Complete 7 volumes translated from Greek, mottled calf ruled three times in gilt, 6 compartments with decorative gilt ampohrae and raised bands, two black spine labels lettered in gilt, gilt dentelle turn-ins and edges, a.e.g., marbled endpapers. Large 8vo. General rubbing to joints and edges with slight bumped corners; interior clean with tight binding.
