HODGSON, William Hope (1877-1918). The House on the Borderland And Other Novels. Sauk City, WI: Arkham House, 1946. 8vo. [640] pp. Publisher's full black cloth, spine stamped in gilt, publisher's unclipped (?$5.00") dust jacket (light rubbing to cloth spine, endleaves a bit offset; jacket spine very lightly sunned, light rubbing to jacket, front joint a bit over-creased). A bright, fine copy, much better than usually seen. A SUPERB FIRST EDITION OF THIS COLLECTION OF HODGSON'S NOVELS. Hodgson was a prolific author despite his short life (he died in Belgium during World War I). His works have influenced writers such as H. P. Lovecraft, Terry Pratchett, and more. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 10 X 8 X 2".
