HOUDINI, Harry (Erik Weisz) (1874 - 1926). Dreadnought Builders Challenge Houdini. Printed handbill on thin paper, dated October 4, 1910. The shipwrights and carpenters of the Thames Shipbuilding Co., Canning Town, challenge Houdini to escape from a packing case of thick timber secured with rope and nailed shut. Wooden frame, 9 ? x 7? (sight). Tape repair and discoloration through center.
