HOUDINI, Harry (Erik Weisz, 1874 ? 1926). Buried Alive! Egyptian Fakirs Outdone. Master Mystifier. Houdini. Cleveland: Otis Litho., ca. 1924. Eight-sheet color lithographed poster advertising a sensational stunt that Houdini would never perform ? his escape from a coffin buried under mounds of heavy earth. Houdini's head floats above the Egyptian scene featuring The Sphinx. An imposing, impressive, classic, and powerful image. 109 x 89". Linen backed. Expert restoration in margins and at old sheet breaks and folds, minor discoloration in Houdini's face. B+.
