HOUDINI, Harry (Erik Weisz, 1874 - 1926). Houdini-Owned Rankin Handcuffs. Heavy cast iron cuffs with single swiveling central bolt/link combination and a dip in each bow to allow the jailor to insert his thumbs under the prisoner's wrists while restrained or to help open the cuffs. Extended length 10 1/4". Key lacking. Owned by Houdini and purchased by the former owner from the Houdini family.
