London: Cassell & Company, Limited, [n. d., ca. 1878-1879]. Large folios. Profusely illustrated. 2 volumes. 314; 388 pp. Publisher's full brown cloth over beveled boards, front boards and spines decoratively stamped in black and gilt, rear boards stamped in blind, brown coated endleaves, all edges gilt. PRESUMED FIRST ENGLISH EDITION.
Condition
Minor occasional edgewear to boards, free endleaves of vol. I creased, front hinge of vol. 2 cracking. Bright and fine, better than usually seen.
