Profusely illustrated in steel and wood. Publisher's half brown morocco over thick brown cloth boards, front boards and spines stamped in gilt, all edges gilt, marbled endleaves. FIRST AMERICAN EDITION OF THE TWO VOLUME VERSION OF THIS TITLE.
Condition
Bindings worn (especially at joints), spines toned, hinges starting, a few gutters starting, one signature in vol. I a bit loose, ffep. and front blank loose in vol. II, text generally toned with occasional thumbsoiling, a few short marginal tears. Fair.
