Inlaid Die Box and Chimney. Vienna: S. Klingl, 1930s. Classic effect in which a die vanishes from a wooden box and reappears in a tube previously shown empty. Includes solid die and two shells with flaps. Two shells with inlaid spots. Die a 2 1/2" cube. Sliding weight mechanism. Finely constructed with inlaid veneer to the chimney and Die Box. Hallmarked three times by Klingl. A handsome example of Klingl's work.
Interior of one door repaired, but generally very good to near fine.
