Engraved frontispiece of President-Elect Jackson. 7 (of 8) plates only, lacking the map. Three engraved plates of sheet music to ?Jackson?s Grand March and Quick Step.? Contemporary quarter maroon leather, gilt tooling and scrollwork, marbled endpapers (overs rubbed, hinges tender; moderately foxed). Howes W?68. Sabin 101164. Scarce pro-Jackson biography published just after he won the 1828 presidential election.
