- Lot Description
[JAPANESE BASEBALL]. Group of 18 Collector?s Cards of Ballplayers. [Japan, ca. 1950s-1970s]. Various baseball cards, caramel cards, color bromide cards, postcards, one photo, and four large poster cards. Included in this lot is one photo of Masanori Murakami in his San Francisco Giants uniform, signed by him (he was the first Japanese player to play for an MLB team). Sizes range from 18 x 12? to 5 x 2 ??. Some general occasional wear, the rare card featuring hall of famer Atsushi Aramaki is chipped at the bottom left corner. Overall, an excellent group of rare cards and one photo. Some of the other players featured include Kawakami, Inao, Betto, Morinaga, Nagashima, Oh, and more. From the Mark Rucker Collection.
