- Lot Description
[JAPANESE BASEBALL]. Group of Eight Press Photos of Ballplayers. [Japan and U.S.A., ca. 1940s-1970s]. Black and white photos of ballplayers, two photos have teletyped captions affixed to versos (UPI and AP - captions in English); the other photos have occasional later pencil notes. Sizes range from 11 ? x 9 to 7 ? x 9?. The older photos are toned, and have some rubbing, creasing, some soiling on versos, some of the older photos with short marginal tears. Overall, a very good group. Players include: Fujimura, Kawakami, Fujimoto, Chiba, Suzuki, and Oh. From the Mark Rucker Collection.
