Joe Koehler ?Par Excellence? Playing Cards. [New York], ca. 1880s/90s. 52 + OB. Beautifully printed deck, the courts with gilt backgrounds. Original paper-covered slipcase box lettered Par Excellence. Hochman MSW91 (?very unusual?the only example of cards we know of by this manufacturer is in the United States Playing Card Co. Museum?). RARE.
