KIDD, Thomas (American, b. 1955). Original artwork for the cover of ?The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes? 1987. Oil on masonite. Artwork depicts Holmes outdoors in front of an English street scene with his familiar meerschaum pipe and in his deerstalker cap. Signed at lower center. Sight 15 ? x 30 ??. Framed 20 x 34 ??. Minor wear to frame. Offered with a copy of this title (Carroll & Graf Publishers, 1987) with the above artwork on the front of the dust jacket. FIRST EDITION, SIGNED BY THE TWO EDITORS ON THE TITLE-PAGE.
