Large Carved Dance Organ Sculpture. Circa 1900. Left facing carved sculpture from a mortier dance organ or similar automatic music machine in the form of a bare breasted maiden in a blue silken gown with flowers adorning her hair, castanets in either hand, and standing atop a faux marble base. Finish handsomely and professionally restored. With the name of the sculptor, G. Van der Merch, carved in gilt letters in the base. Height 72?. Third party shipping required.
