Large Carved Dance Organ Sculpture. Circa 1900. Right facing carved sculpture from a mortier dance organ or similar automatic music machine in the form of a bare breasted maiden in a blue silken gown with flowers in her hair, castanets in either hand, standing atop a faux marble base. Finish handsomely and professionally restored. With the name of the sculptor, G. Van der Merch, carved in gilt letters in the base. Height 72?. Third party shipping required.
