Cloth lightly rubbed, some offsetting to endleaves, bookseller's ticket on rp.; jacket toned, edgeworn with some marginal chipping and short tears, creases; slipcase worn, toned, soiled, with several joints splitting. Overall, a very good copy in the uncommon jacket and slipcase.
Perhaps the most famous book written about North Africa during the early 20th century, Lawrence and his writings were the basis of David Lean's epic film, Lawrence of Arabia (1962).
