MAO ZEDONG (1893-1976). Mao Zhuxi Yulu [Quotations from Chairman Mao]. [Peking: General Political Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, 1965]. 12mo. [xii], [271], [3, blank] pp. Illustrated with a sepia portrait of Mao. 5 x 3 ?". Original publisher's wrappers, front wrapper printed in black and red, spine printed in red (wrappers dampstained at edges, rear wrapper skillfully re-attached and soiled, occasional marginal dampstaining in text, skewed). Very good. FIRST COMPLETE EDITION COMPRISING 33 CHAPTERS, THIRD EDITION OVERALL. The second edition added chapters 31 and 32; the third edition added chapter 33 (this edition; this was used subsequently for all future editions and translations).
