MARTIN, Jon (1882 – 1968). Photograph of Jon Martin in his Workshop. London, 1940s. Half-length image of the “master magical mechanic” known for his fine bench-made mechanical magic apparatus, here seen holding a Ring Pull in his left hand. 7 x 9 ½”. Pinholes near borders, else very good. SCARCE. This image was likely taken by Cardini on one of his many visits to Martin’s home workshop.
