MCCARTHY, Cormac (1933-2023). The Orchard Keeper. [London:] Andre Deutsch, [1966]. 8vo. 246 pp. Publisher's full red cloth, spine lettered in gilt, publisher's unclipped ("25s net") dust jacket. FIRST ENGLISH EDITION OF MCCARTHY'S FIRST NOVEL.
Condition
Cloth rubbed, bumped, soiled, edge of text block soiled and foxed, endleaves foxed, ffep. with a few pen marks; jacket spine sunned, jacket toned, edgeworn, foxed, lightly dampstained with some scratches, rear jacket panel quite toned and soiled. Still, good. Rare in jacket.
