New York: Simon and Schuster, [1975]. 8vo. 410, [4, blank] pp. Publisher?s brown cloth backstrip over beige boards, spine lettered in gilt, publisher?s unclipped (?$9.95) dust jacket (binding mildly rubbed, text toned, skewed; jacket lightly rubbed). Near fine. FIRST EDITION, SIGNED BY MCMURTRY ON THE FFEP. Laid-in are 6 color snapshots taken by the collector at McMurtry?s bookshop, Booked Up, in Archer City, TX, and environs, including two featuring McMurtry (and one featuring his cat!) Snapshots are captioned on versos by the collector.
