MORRISON, Toni (1931-2019). Sula. New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1974. FIRST EDITION of Morrison?s second novel set in the remnants of a Black neighborhood in fictional Medallion, Ohio which was destroyed so that a golf course could be constructed. Sula was integrally important to the emergence of Black Feminist Literary Theory and was met with critical claim and success, earning her a nomination for the National Book Award. A FINE COPY.
