Appleton-Century Company Incorporated, 1935. 8vo. 367, [3, blank] pp. Publisher's full yellow cloth, front board stamped in red and black, spine lettered in black, publisher's unclipped (?$2.50") dust jacket (cloth lightly rubbed, some faint soiling to joints; jacket spine lightly sunned, jacket slightly toned, light rubbing to jacket edges, flaps soiled, rear flap with inkstamp price (same as printed price), price sticker (same as printed price) on rp. Near fine. And: Another copy. Publisher's cloth, unclipped dust jacket (cloth soiled, lightly edgeworn; jacket with several tape repairs on verso, jacket spine sunned, jacket chipped, soiled, several tears). Good. FIRST EDITIONS. A historical romance set in Ancient Rome after the death of Julius Caesar, the third in a series (after Tros of Samothrace and Queen Cleopatra). From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 9 X 8 X 2".
