Appleton-Century Company Incorporated. 1934. 8vo. 949, [1, blank] pp. Publisher's full yellow cloth, front board stamped in black and red, spine lettered in black, publisher's price (?$3.00") present on jacket, flaps with publisher's neat clipping (minor rubbing to binding; minor rubbing to jacket). Bright and fine. FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING (?(1)" on final page) PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY MUNDY ON THE FFEP.: ?Amanda Mc Donough compliments of Talbot Mundy Oct 26th, 1934". This novel is made up of previously-published novellas, which had appeared in various magazines. The title character is a Greek warrior helping the pre-Roman Britons resist an invasion by Julius Caesar. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 9 X 8 X 2".
